• I was happy to hear the Hammer on with RW. I have listened everyday. I hope the Hammer can stay clean. I haven't enjoyed Norm's show since Bascik was fired. I have begun to sacrifice some BAD radio time slots for the RW/GW show. I'll listen to whom ever is interesting at the moment. I still enjoy the H/L since there is no competition for them. I would like to have my day at fight night with both Danny and Corby. I don't hate them, I just know they need a good ass whipping. They are smug little jerkweeds!

• Hey Anus, it sounds like you listened to two segments of BaD radio last week and then decided that now Bob is obsessed with Spanish. First, that's the only way they could talk to Vlady, and other than the spanish ticker during White Elephant a year or two ago, Spanish Bob has been extremely scarce. And to pleasefirecorby, I wouldn't give my babyarm or even my regular arm to hear the old Hardline. I'm not sure if you read the Ticket book, but if Greggo hadn't gotten fired, Mike and the gang would've defected to another station when their contract ran out in '09 because they hated working with him so much. Seriously, go back to 06 and early 07 and listen to the show. It's terrible. Like someone above said, Mike makes the Hardline, and in my opinion, he made Greggo. The show worked because they were two extremely different people who had great chemistry in the early days, but Hammer pissed that away, and I don't think he'll ever get it back. They had something special before Greg alienated The Hardline, and once he was kicked to the curb, the show continued to consistently pull down #1 rankings and thankfully stayed on The Ticket. That wouldn't have happened if Greggo was still there. Also the new show is called Good Radio? Give me an effing break.

• Greggo is exactly what the Fan needs to boost their ratings. He's a familiar local voice who has a large following in the DFW area. Now if the management at the FAN would realize that having a gay guy (Jagger) fake interest in sports won't work, things could turn around for the station. Also, Newy isn't terrible but he's average at best. The new guy Gavin is garbage and so are Barsky and Greg. Arnie Spainier used to be decent on national radio but the higher ups at the FAN are making him talk about idiotic subject matter that has nothing to do with sports. Arnie isn't interesting enough to do any kind of show except a show that's very sports intensive. Bring on Mike Bacsik and get rid of every show except RW Greggo.

• I listened to Jagger when he was on the Edge and I tried to listen to him when they moved over to the Fan. The show and that station's format are HORRIBLE, I can't listen for more than five minutes. And PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET RID OF JASMINE!!!! How she's still on the radio is beyone me. She has to be blowing somebody.

• Now I'm the biggest Ticket homer on here, but even I recognize that this is a good move for The Fan. First of all, Norm irritates the living hell out of me. The one legit all-sportsy Ticket host is also the most annoying. I listened to Greggo when he was on with Richie, and I've got to say that I'll probably listen to that show instead of Norm. I liked what I heard the couple of days Greggo was on. He's not a sports genius and he is incredibly flawed...it makes him relatable. Best thing was knowing at any minute he could say something you don't hear from anyone else. And he had a couple of those moments with Richie. Will it make a dent in the ratings? Who knows and who cares. All I know is I'm not going to listen to another nails-on-the-chalkboard Kentucky Derby Fantasy Call, awkward interview or Norm eating on the air.

• Greggo is not a lead dog, and I am not so sure that RW is either. It was proven through his ESPN gig, that Greggo is a great sidekick (when clean), but is not the guy to send it to break or give a 40 liner. He's not the play-by-play, he's the color guy...so for this to work, the pressure is actually on RW...and when there is a road show at nookie palaces or yuppie places, can Greggo keep his nose clean? But the REAL issue that only a few commenters have mentioned, but I know the majority agree with, The Fan WILL NOT improve until the format improves. You are already blantantly trying to imitate the Ticket in everything else you do, including the personalities, you might as well adopt the less-caller driven format. Just attempt to go about it the same way and see what happens...what's the worse result? Low ratings? oh, wait....

He is however, when sober, a very entertaining person, whether intentional or not. Personally, I thought his relevancy had outlived itself. But I do think Husky has ADHD, and gets bored easily. Greggo is going to have to realize he's not in a Ticket style format anymore and will have to adjust. The Ticket weaves the shows and the comrarderie of the entire station together so well, that the shows would likely fail without the whole Ticket compound being a part of them. • Been a P1 for a long time , but I find myself listening more and more to the Fan. I hate to say it but the Lil Ticket is getting stale. It might be time to bring in some fresh blood. The move to bring Barsky in with Jagger has made that show much more entertaining IMHO. ( sorry Musers).

• it amazes me how people forget that greggo had some bad ass years with the ticket...hes an addict...it is what it is...could he f up again sure...and everybody can rag on him as if he was a friend or someone they knew...but what if it was a friend or family member..i am not some kind of ass kisser i actually have never listened to the fan more than a few mins. • Jagger, Barsky, and Jasmine (well, I thought it was Jasmine, but Richie spelled it "Jasime" -- what do I know?): Probably good folks, but they don't talk sports. Newy Scruggs: Radio is a business, so I hope no one's feelings are hurt by the changes. I like Newy. I remember when he first came to DFW, and I thought, "Who is this big black dude with the crazy ass suits on NBC?" He's still here, and he still talks about Cleveland, North Carolina, and Los Angeles, but he's a Texan now. Richie and Greggo: Let's face it, this is a good chance for the Fan to get some ratings. Two guys that know local sports, and two guys with good personalities for radio. When they were on the air together, you could tell it was working. Two jackasses stirring each other up. It's called the Fan, but I'm sure the fans will be little more than the butts of jokes during lunch break. Should be fun. Gregg (or "Greg" as Richie spells it, even though he makes fun of the real spelling all the time, WTF?) and Gavin: Probably good guys, but I'm not sure they know sports all that well, and Gregg seems to be in denial that he is a right-wing crazy. I usually listen to Randy Galloway or music. Arnie: Don't know. I don't listen to the radio during those hours. Damn, I always type too much...nobody reads my shit.

• Brav-effing-o Rw and the Fan...yall are hearing what the people are saying for once..now get the show moved to 10 to 2, and I'd be all in..(I'll be there anyway, but hat yall going against BAD from 2-3) congrats RW, seriously though..:9-1 or 4-7 would do yall wonders..can't wait til chewbascik shows up
