Tony Romo's a miracle. Bill Parcells ain't worth a shit. Tim Tebow won't be worth a damn.

And, oh yeah, Jerry Jones likes to party.

To me this hidden video of the Dallas Cowboys owner shooting the bull with some fans is no biggie, nothing new.

Appearing on Entourage? Now that would be big news.

Jerry should know better. It was a sorta similar setting in which he blabbed about "500 coaches" other than Jimmy Johnson being able to lead his team to a Super Bowl.

Nonetheless, nothing he said - in this day of the insta-news cell phone video - is inflammatory. Hopefully NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has more on his plate to worry about.

Has Hansen been fired yet over this flap doodle? Does Mr. Hansen really believe that bringing up a tragic suicide is the way to argue for journalistic integrity? People must love seeing him trying to embarrass his bosses with his hateful and mean spirited remarks. As much as Jerra's antics get on my nerves, I'm more concerned about this draft than what he slurs out in bar. I think most of us have slurred some stupid shit after one too many, but if he starts trading down into the third and fourth rounds again this year then we know he has a drinking problem. And that's Romo friendly.

I just watched what Dale said last night. I actually agree with the dude. That took some serious onions to say what he said. And kudos to you, too, Richie. I'm glad you acknowledged this as a total non-story no big deal. I gotta say, I came on here expecting you to blast Jerry like you did Josh and Ron Washington. I guess it is easier to let Jerry slide. Every fucking one of us here have said some shit while drunk that we later wished we had kept in. And nobody was filming us when we did it. If there was a transcript of all of my drunken rants over the years, there probably wouldnt be a friend or family member left that would speak to me.
Can't stand Dale, turn off whatever he is on, radio or the tv but he is right on this one. Jerry drunk in a bar is no big deal, he's kinda funny.
Don't forget all of the media folks who played high-stakes poker games at that "entrepreneur's" place near SMU who chopped up that coed a couple of years ago. And of course the same ones who were part of the Cowboys Cafe scene in the mid-90's.

@ROFM..who was Dale alluding to in the picture of the Cowboy, Dope dealer and Newstype? the newstype was cropped out, but evidently the picture was shown afterwards? Don't know the fine work of Jan Bridgman, but Tracy Rowlett always looked a little shady to me..POW
So Dale spouts off about some WFAA anchorperson that committed suicide. Turns out that that person is Jan Bridgman. I looked her up and found a story on the D Magazine blog. It concerned the suicide of Jeanmarie Tolle Geis (local married realtor who was dating Dale's son) and the local DMN coverage by Matthew Haag, whose father was Marty Haag, the guy who hired Dale at WFAA. Seems as though Marty demanded that the WFAA newsroom go silent when Jan Bridgman killed herself in August 1984 over Tracy Rowlett.
I'm not a Cowboy fan, but I am of Drunk Jerry now. Worked for Harry Carey.

I want to hear more about Dale Hansen's accusations last night..and how thin of ice the big guy is one after same accusations. For those of you that didn't see Dale last night..he brought up tales of news directors who died in their sleep had actually commited suicide and of another instance when a news director was cropped out of a photo which included a Dallas Cowboy and a drug dealer..Me and the Wifey looked at each other with our mouths wide open..it was by far the most tense "Unplugged" that Dale has ever done..and I thought it was fantastic..as far as the Jerra tape, don't care a bit..hope he doesn't change and continues to interact with fans from time to time..but I would expect him to be a bit more standoffish because of these jackasses and their ilk.
