Dallas Cowboys' Pre-Season Schedule is All Over the Map

Five games. Three time zones. Two training camps.

Your Dallas Cowboys are certainly expanding their brand as America's Team. But is such nomadic pre-season good for them?

The Cowboys will travel almost 5,000 miles this summer, compared to only 852 for the New York Giants. I think jet lag is one of those man-made syndromes allowing us the freedom to be even lazier, but to say the least it will be a dis-jointed pre-season for Dallas.

A schedule that will start Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio will travel through Arlington, San Diego and Houston. In between, the Cowboys will switch training camp hubs from San Antonio to Oxnard, California.

Then again, they had a football-intensive camp only in San Antonio last summer and stumbled to a 2-2 start, so who knows?

Aug. 8   at Canton, Ohio Cincinnati Bengals

TBA      vs. Oakland Raiders, Arlington

TBA      at San Diego Chargers

Aug. 28 at Houston Texans

TBA      vs. Miami Dolphins, Arlington
