Each year, a team's schedule consists of several parts: - 6 games against the other 3 teams in the division, 3 Home/3 Away - 4 games against the entirety of an NFC division, 2 Home/2 Away - 4 games against the entirety of an AFC division, 2 Home/2 Away - 2 games against the other two divisions in your conference, based on last season's finish. So, all of the NFC East teams will play each other twice, Indy/Jacksonville/Tennessee/Houston, and Detroit/Minnesota/Green Bay/Chicago. To complete the schedule, Dallas gets the other NFC 1st place teams of NO and Arizona, Philly gets 2nd place Atlanta and San Francisco, New York gets 3rd place Carolina and Seattle, and Washington gets 4th place Tampa Bay and St. Louis.

• @Scrooge: The difference between Dallas's and Washington's schedule is that while they both will play the entire NFC North and AFC South, the Cowboys, because they finished first, get the first-place teams from the NFC South and West (New Orleans and Arizona) while the Redskins will get the last-place teams from those divisions (Tampa Bay and the Rams). I'm pretty sure that's the way it works.

• I was looking forward to the season being over knowing that the dark cloud wasn't going to be shitting all over my team for the next six months. Silly me. It's amazing that somebody can have this terrible of an outlook on a team that he is a "fan" of. I swear Richie you would complain about banging a supermodel because the service was slow at the Applebee's that you took her to 2 hours prior.

• Here we go again......OF COURSE they can have a great season and be the first team to be in a home superbowl. They have a "few" minor issues to work on (kicking, blocking) and they can do it. They beat Indy last time, they beat N.O. last time, ....

• @P1, well you know that during cross talk today on the littlest of tickets..the boys were comparing Mike Irvins show and Scrubs and RW show..said it was like the mid nineties Cowboys vs 49ers...without a hint of irony (I added the last part)..I say the same record as I predicted for this past year..9-7 or 10-6..have to be lucky to make the playoffs and then will have to hope for a natural disaster or plane crash to make the Superbowl...sports

• recent nfl history tells us that a teams record from the immediately preceeding season means nothing. the cowboys 2010 schedule could end up being one of easiest when all is said and done. just sayin', let's go ahead an play the games just in case...
