• @scott, I realize you have a higher football IQ than everybody, but you're insane. Having no other choice but to take some shots down field is aggressive? And to call them trick plays is ridiculous. Alabama had to expect that they would try to throw the ball down field. To say they would not have expected it makes me question the greatest football mind I've come across (that's you!). You're crazy, dude.

• I'm gonna take a wild swing here and say that the above post wasn't from Dr.g. @RW, your blog is/has descending in chaos here. Its Lord of the Fly's in this thing these days. @Meat, if McCoy wasn't injured and Alabama didn't change because Texas didn't change, then Alabama would have changed and won. Or, something like that. And PPS, Texas scored on two bomb passes which I would call super aggressive. Actually, I would go so far as to call them trick plays as with a young QB, THAT was very aggressive and would not have been expected by Alabama. It was a great coaching call, though. They could not have slowly marched down the field to score with the young one.

With McCoy in, the 2nd FG is probably a touchdown, the interception for TD DOESN'T happen and UT's fumble on their 3 doesn't happen. • I have had this debate five time this AM. "IF" McCoy was in, Alabama would have played a different game and Texas would still not have won this, ever. Alabama is too strong and too athletic with too many weapons.
