Question: Can you get divorced if you're not married?

Answer: Yes, according to Pugs & Kelly. Yes you can.

Unless there's a last-minute reconciliation ongoing as we speak, Pugs will go on the air today at 1 on 1360 AM without long-time sidekick Kelly. Why?

Because, in short, they had a big fight last week. About what? I shit you not: Whether Tiger looks black or Asian.

Sounds like a radio bit. But it isn't.

Lookie here (Fast-forward to the 36-minute mark for the genesis of the argument.) I hear that at one point during a break in the show Kelly yelled at Pugs, "Why are you being an asshole?!" To which Pugs responded by storming off, dragging a cord and knocking over a drink.

The split is so serious that, as of now, Pugs will solo host the show Monday-Wednesday-Friday and Kelly Tuesday-Thursday, then reverse the roles the following week.

"It'll be like one of those sitcoms," says 1360 afternoon host Richard Hunter. "The roommates split the apartment right down the middle after they fight."

Geez. Excuse me while I go hug my partner Newy Scruggs.

Lost all respect for Pugs when he was on 105.3. They were talking about prison, and Pugs said " if I go to prison I''ll just have to give up the booty because I dont want to fight everyday." Now thats gay or not gay.
Sounds like someone is fixing to go back to spinning records and talking in a cool voice between the melody. To be a TALK SHOW host, you have to have some depth, experience, intelligence greater than most. I didn't get that for Bugs and Snoopy. Just a couple of whacky FM DJ's that got caught up in a talk show concept on FM, that failed.
Is this another phony radio feud? How many of these have we seen over the years? These fake spats are normally between radio personalities from competing stations so perhaps it's real. I'm still calling it fake and an attention grabbing stunt.
Dr.g sounds like he knows a bit too much about junior high school schedules..lookout for the "To catch a predator" guy hiding out Dr.g .. You know those girls (?) aren't really 18, like their saying..
you guys have got to get over yourselves. really tiger is want the problem is? come on, work it out and get back on the air. I'm an black woman who likes to listen to you guys and its sad that it comes down to tiger. Unless this has been going on for sometime? I know that Kelly is trying to have a baby and may have to move, but with Eric as the tech geek you guys can work from anywhere. Kelly babies cost a lot and Pugs Shooter is still a baby so swallow your pride, balls, whatever and get the show back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't let Russ when :)
I cracked up at Jack E Jett's "Picking up a pack of cigerettes" jab after the GREAT Ronnie Spector left his show Sunday! I think he got pissed at her closing comment about her not being too crazy about the Adam Lambert man-on-man stage kiss! Oh, those crazy gays!......Adam Lambert...Pugs & Kelly....Jack E Jett.....MY GOD...WHAT THE HELL'S HAPPIN TO ME?!!!....See what happans when the Ticket goes south?!
I definitly thot Kelly got a little too pissed at the black chick at Rockfish. That was kinda un-Kelly like! I think there's some serious personal problems goin on!
An guess what I KNOW, as do all other readers of this blog...you STILL act and sound like a pre-pubescent eighth grader with nothing to contribute but typical junior high schtick. By the way, Geography and Astronomy aren't taught in the same class at the jr. high level....unless you take remedial classes. That explains everything!
Maybe Pugs was tired of Kelly mailing it in, acting as if she might be strung out on pills, and bringing nothing to the show while she acted like a prima donna drama queen? just a thought.
I don't know much about radio these days, but I'd think you'd try not to avoid acting like a couple of idiots in order to keep a pretty good gig. And Brody, stop picking on Richie or I'm going to make you my Gimp ala Pulp Fiction.

I thinks this sucks. They are a great team and I love listening to them. I think it is a shame that they are breaking up and over suck a STUPID argument. I think this was a planned arrangement.

If anyone thinks this is about a silly argument that they had on air, and Pugs just walked off, is very SIMPLE minded. Relationships do not work that way.

I LOVE Pugs and think he is great! He will get a new partner, or even do a show on his own and be even more successful. Most of these negative comments are hacks.

@Really: Kelly has already said as much. She is working on a new project. I don't know how successful it will be, but I'll give her a chance. I was at Rockfish when it all went down, and I am telling you guys, it's not about Tiger Woods OR cable news. If you watch the Ustream from Thursday, Pugs all but says that it would be their last live remote together. Something was already up.
This is the end...I bet they'll be off the air FOR GOOD Jan 1st.
I have often wondered (on this very blog no less) who has done more with less, Greggo or Ben & Skin. Well, the answer is clear. These two jokers couldn't hold Ben or Skin's dirty dead jocks. Breaking up a partnership over that? Glad I don't listen and never will.
I think it's pretty clear that there's more to this story than the CauBlanAsian argument. Things have been tense between P&K for a while now, especially with their financial troubles and Kelly's long-distance marriage and unsuccessful fertility treatments. Sad to say, this has been a long time coming. And those of you who hate them and think they are worthless sure do spend a lot of time on the internet letting us know all about it.
The Shot Not Heard Around the World. Honestly, it'd be like <enter Fan or ESPN radio personality here> saying "Hitler was right!" Nobody would care because nobody listens. Nothing personal, Richie. And their arguement didn't seem to be over whether Tiger was black or asian, but the influence of 24-7 TV news networks and when it all started.
