I could wax poetic about what a great year it was in 2009, or I could half-ass it on New Year's Eve and just remind you of the people and purposes I found intriguing over the last 12 months.

I'm taking umbrage with your self-promoting list. Specifically the 2nd most intriguing thing to you this year. The comparisons between Josh Howard's off court transgressions and Josh Hamilton's off field transgressions aren't really comparable, Richie. Howard admitted to smoking pot the day of Game 3 of the New Orleans series, then was told not to have a birthday party or even pass out flyers to teammates indicating he was having a party...but had it anyway. Then during the summer, he was busted for drag racing and disparaging the flag in a YouTube video. As for Hambone, yes, he's a hypocrite. In spite of what he may say, he's a hypocrite. And he should have probably made this public to the media the same day he notified his wife and his employer. If he screws up or we find out he's been having an affair, he'll be afforded the same public treatment that Tiger Woods has been afforded the last month when we found out he had not just one mistress, but has...what are we up to, 13? As a final point, if all it takes is race and religion to be on your side for you to be viewed favorably by the public, then why is Tim Teabow considered to be the biggest doosh in all of America?
did anyone hear john clay on BDH show in its final moments yesterday? over the top. Just a few minutes, he managed to specifically insult and compliment 20% of the dallas media.

I'm trying to figure who I hate the most: -John Wley Price -Arod -Mark Tex -Craig James -Tom Hicks -Yuppies in SUV's (who act like the brother in stepbrother) -Dale Hanson -Randy Galloway What a collection of assholes, tools and blowhards!
My favorite moment is when Craig James ruined his political career by getting Mike Leach fired. And then no one cared about Tech-again, ever! And then I saw Adam James working as a security guard at the dump.

Personally, I'd put something regarding Tom Hicks finally giving up control of the Rangers up there. This "Decade" of nine years was pretty assy on the whole. Crossing my fingers for something better once I recover from the hangover.

When posts from a "scott" are insightful and reflect a level of deep thinking; its the real scott. When a scott post starts with a sentence including 'aren't' instead of 'why are not', then its the fake scott

This has been the worst year of my life without a doubt, capped off by spending 17 hours stuck on 287 Christmas Day. But I have a good feeling about 2010. Fuck you 2009 and don't come back.
Why aren't my 100% correct football picks in the top 10? I'll leave all my fans one more Cowboys prediction: If we win Sunday, we'll finish the season 11-5 otherwise we'll finish 10-6. You heard it here first.
Damn Richie! Why are you so jealous of Russ Martin?Even after a year with Russ off the air you still bring him up whenever you get the chance! Of course you should be jealous of him,his ratings where something your show will never even get close to,he makes alot of money without even having to go anywhere or do anything for it.He has a new mansion,2 Bat Mobiles,a Speed racer car and a Munster Mobile to boot. I still listen to Russ daily thanks to Don Sierra. I am happy that the new 105.3 the Fan is a complete failure in ratings and never even came close the the RMS ratings.Richie,just wait until 105.3 switches back to it's old format and Russ replaces you!
