*Nolan Ryan remains the face of the franchise, with the final authority on baseball decisions.
*Greenberg promises to spend money. "We will have money in the budget. Money will not stop us."
*Greenberg will serve as managing partner CEO, leaving the baseball to baseball people. "I will not interject myself into the baseball operations."
*By the way, Greenberg's first partner last winter was former Dallas Mavericks minority owner David McDavid. If that name rings a bell, it should.
*On the Rangers' off-season radar: Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome and Jermaine Dye. Wow.
