• Bill - the Holiday bowl gets the first pick after the BCS from the PAC 10 conference and the 2nd pick from the Big 12. The Cotton Bowl gets the 1st Big 12 pick after the BCS.

• Actually, Holiday Bowl is considered first pick after BCS.

• For all you tards out the brainwashed by the national media, the BCS isn't the only games that matter. If you follow that logic the NC game would be the only bowl that really means anything. The cotton is the first pick of BigXII after bcs, that's hardly a crap bowl. Consider the New Orleans, the Liberty, the Houston, Texas bowl! Papa Johns bowl. Regardless there are teams and fans that enjoy the games, make new acquaintances, spend money, have drinks, patronize your businesses. Any true fan of cfb knows there is lots of fun competition to be had, conference debates to be settled. But hey you casual fans or non fans can bash all you want because it's not a shiney playoff that settles everything neatly.

• What blows about the second (and third, fourth, etc) tier bowls is that they have pretty solid conference affiliations. Instead of going out and getting the best match up for the fans, they are forced to take these leftovers. I realize conference affiliations have gone on forever, but not to the extent they are now, where the Cotton is stuck with an SEC team, Holiday with Big12 and Pac 10 and on and on. I'm sure the masses are THRILLED to have Ole Miss headed to town for the second straight year.

• Cotton Bowl = Underachievers Bowl The big conferences continue their money grab by ensuring that crappy big conference teams get into the big bowls. F the BCS.

• I think the Lady Raiders did about the same thing last year up there and were rewarded with a trip to the Gator bowl...all the bowls outside of the BCS bowls are Loser bowls anyhow..seriously who cares about the Cotton til they get bumped up in status..and it'll happen fairly quickly ..

• OSU should be eliminated from bowl consideration after that steaming turd they laid last week against the Sooners. How can you get shut out by THOSE GUYS?!?

• Well the cotton bowl at cowboys stadium will YAWN itself to another record sellout, so I guess they really dont care who plays OSU.
