Since Deion isn't the MVP, then who?

The Dallas Cowboys are 6-2. Your glass of blue Kool-Aid is more half-full than half-empty.

Wade Phillips is Coach of the Year, Tony Romo's in the Pro Bowl, Keith Brooking is Badass of the Decade and you've got the Cowboys penciled in for Super Bowl XLIV February 7 in Miami.

Question: Who gets the credit?

Who, in other words, is your first-half MVP?

miles austin for sure. he was the catalyst that started the upswing in the cowboys season. he has been the difference maker.

Offensively, Miles Austin is the easy choice. Second place goes to the entire OL.

Defensively, Keith Brooking -- not just for his play, but also for the impact he's having on those around him. However, I may ask him to split the trophy with Ratliff, that guy's been a beast.

He caught hell when the team went 2-2 (and remember that those 2 losses were down to the wire, the Giants loss being on the defense's shoulders).

Since then? 4 straight wins while putting up solid numbers.

Winning is definitely choice F. The Romo friendly offense has made Romo's favorite receiver the OPEN receiver during each play.

Placing would be the pass Romo threw that hung out Roy Williams and bruised his ribs and led to the rise of Miles Austin.

To show is a tie between G and Joe DeCamillis's addition as special teams coach.
having teams start on offense 80 yards plus (especially after you score) most of the time has helped the defense tremendously.

There are to many honorable mentions but the one most off the radar is Butler on defense. He seems to always find a way to put pressure on the quarterback with the limited chances that he gets. Jim Jeffcoat anyone?

How about no MVP at all right now? I'n diggin' the fact that they are a TEAM at the moment, so maybe T.O. for being banished to the dregs of the NFL. That, I suspect, goes back to Stephen Jones most of all. Maybe even, yes, Wade had something to do with it along with Jason Garrett. You know, you KNOW that Jerrah wouldn't have done it on his own.

I still think Wade is not the answer, but I love seeing this team get better every week.
