A Moment of Silence ...
Every once in a while - unfortunately - we're reminded that sports is just a toy-box diversion. And that life, it ain't fair at all.

Funny, when my co-worker told me about this and asked me what I thought the shooter's name was I guessed Mohammed Hasan. Too bad I was so close.
I have never been in the military but have several friends who were/are and they say the military is one of the biggest brotherhoods out there. So why is it that this fool decided that a bunch of unknown people overseas were more important than his brothers and sisters here at home that have sworn to protect him and his NATIVE country which is this one, NOT Iraq?
Am I supposed to now write off all Muslims as backwards-thinking hypocrites and go back to hating them the way I did after 9/11? As an admitted outsider, I see Muslims as a group of people that cannot live in a free society, who subjugates their women and live the same way people did 2000 years ago while the rest of the world moves forward. And the utter hypocrisy of killing innocent, unarmed individuals to "praise Allah" is something my admittedly simple mind cannot grasp. I know Christians went through the Crusades, but that was 700 years ago. I'm tired of giving Muslims the benefit of the doubt. They are backwards, dangerous and dare I say, evil at the core of their very souls.

Posted On: Friday, Nov. 6 2009 @ 11:30AMAre we going to lose our country and our freedoms before we accept that Muslims hate us and want all of us dead? Iagree with the earlier poster that the Islamic religion is evil, hateful and a grave danger to all the people in the world.
