Got a buddy who is Cowboys' season-ticket holder. One of the privileges is getting first dibs at all the events - not just NFL games - at the sparking, billion-dollar joint.

So he buys four tickets on the 50 to last month's Oklahoma-BYU game. Cost him $1,200, and he sells them for $2,400. Nice.

Tries the same trick for last Saturday's Texas A&M-Arkansas game in Arlington. Cost him $1,200, and he sells them for ...

$800.

Ouch.

Arkansas 47, A&M 19 didn't draw quite the attention or the crowd as the first college game in Cowboys Stadium.

"Aggies are not only losers," my buddy fumed to me yesterday, "they're cheap!"

True?

The Aggies are young and will be in the basement for a while. Thank you Franchione. They did score more points that the Cowboys did in their game. Despite it all, still a fan of both.

It would have been $800 profit for the two games combined; that may have been what I Am Confused was referring to. (2400 + 800) - (2 * 1200)

In the interest of not tempting fate I will reserve my schadenfruede for the aggies for personal conversations with those despondent individuals that I meet daily. Look, their football team sucks and if Princess Sparkle Pony beats Gov. Goodhair in the primary he is going to be the new President down there in Malfunction Junction. They are a sad lot at the moment. I wouldn't have paid for it either. He should have found him some Pig People to rob. They came to town with some money to spend and hopes of beating the lowly aggies. The aggies were not about to spend extra money to see a losing team.
