SMU's Sellout Didn't Look Sold Out

• How can I get tickets to zombieland? A few friends and I are planning to go and see it Friday, but we don't have an adult to buy us tickets. We all have our parents consent and whatnot, but we are getting a ride in my friend Jhon-ohs car. The only problem is that all of us are 16 or younger. Nobodys parent can buy us tickets because no ones parent gets out of work before 5 and the movie starts at 3:30. I have always felt weird about buying tickets online. Anyone know how I can get tickets? you can get tickets online at movietickets.com all you need is a credit card. but when you go pick up the tickets at willcall theyll just ask you for your credit card they wont ask you for your ID. Ive tried this before and it is a very reputable site. they hardly ask for ID. even when i use my credit card to buy tickets. if you do not get it online and just go there. trust me no one is going to let you in. if you ask someone to buy you a ticket because youre not old enough. they wont do it. i know that first hand because hats happened to me. plus if the movie is rated R the movie clerks who sell the ticket can only sell tickets to those that are currently standing in line. so if you do ask someone who is older and they agree to buying it for you while they are buying another movie ticket for themselves. the clerks wont sell it. they arent as stupid as you think. Ive tried this when i was with my boyfreind who was 19 at the time and i was still 16 and they wouldnt sell him two tickets to a rated R movie. Good luck though!

• "SMU's Sellout Didn't Look Sold Out...plenty of good seats available" This photo shows top row endzone seats, at or before kickoff (judging from the sun, sunset and kickoff times), in the section where SMU sponsors bought block tickets and gave them out to various Dallas community groups. I'm not saying that there were 34K butts in seats but in no way is this photo a fair representation of the 26-27K fans actually there (more than any other home game last year, save TCU). You could probably take a picture of the home section and still make fun of it if you really wanted to, but then at least you'd be playing nice.

• @Jmoney Probably the most idiotic post I have ever seen. Jason White didnt win a National Championship. Check you facts. Just another example of classy Texas fans like Richie. It is not always about the money people. Bradford said he wasnt ready to leave OU. How can we fault him for that? How can we laugh at a kid who wanted another year to develop as a quarterback and a person? Vince sure needed both... Hopefully Richie's karma will shut down the Fan as well.

• Vince was rookie of the year. As soon as it's his turn to take over again, he'll be fine. And you can't play the "biggest joke" card without at least mentioning Brian Bosworth. Mobilehoma fans crying as usual.

• Hey J Money, Vince may have gotten the money (and along with it has become the biggest joke in the NFL since Terry Hanratty). As for Richie's uninformed knock against Stoops, take a look at last years stats and tell me which team (OU or UT) scored the most fourth qtr. points....that would be the Whorns. No point doing some research before you allow your brain matter to run out of your nose. Stick to taking phone calls from Reggie in Red Oak who thinks "Michael Irving and Daryl Johnson is what the Cowboys need".

• Ha Ha, to all you f-in sooners...go back to your trailer homes and slap your dog while listening to some classsic Toby Keith..Dirtyp1 is correct..Bradford turned down 20-40 million dollars to come back this year and now I'm thinking we're looking at Jason White..except he doesn't and will not have a Natl Championship ring...very good college qb, afterthought when it comes to the pros...How many spots in the draft has Big Game Bob cost young Mr. Bradford? Mack told Vince to get while the getting was good, you can't really improve on being a top 5 pick but you can damn sure hurt your stock...OK State is going to be the tough game for the Horns this year, we're going to run it up on Zero U..with or without their Heisman winner...oh yeah..Spectator says that the Horns would've stunk it up against the Gators...I seem to remember everyone saying the same stuff about our chances agains the invincible USC squad a few years back..

• Poor Sooners, calm the hell down. Your team is a fraud, it's worse than last year, the only bad thing I can say about Bradford is that it wasn't really smart staying for another year. He is a good athlete, but mortgaging your future on the opportunity to choke in another big game, is EXTREMELY questionable and a bad move. Well, at least if it doesn't work in the NFL he can coach at OU.

• @Chris: Of course I never want to see a player get injured. The karma is aimed at Bob Stoops, who played his starting o-line deep into the fourth quarter of games late last season in order to run up 60 points and style points. • Oh, and you know those SMUbrats that sell out the games? Don't look for most of 'em in the stands until they've won 6 games this year, or the temperature is under 77.

• Hey Richie, I'm a UT alum and I'm not all bitter about last year. The cookie crumbles different each time it crumbles. If we had taken care of business in the first half in Lubbock, there would have been no room for discussion, and Florida still would have handed our asses to us in January. I'm hoping to see Bradford take the field against us in October, and I'm hoping every pass he throws is errant for some reason. Go Horns! Stay out of jail!

• Last year's Big 12 championship trophy looks better than the 45-35 signs ever will. And, as always, thanks to richie for taking a cheap shot at Bradford who is nothing more than a great player, excellent student and all around good guy. What else would we expect from a 5'5" albino with an earring?

• Well you don't have to actually show up if you buy a ticket. But that is a lot of empty seats.
