• Teams switch out guys all the time for situational matchups at just about every position other than QB. And even that reared its head with all the teams doing the wildcat thing.

• This is a Cowboys article, Jack Daddy....get over it. This rotation won't be a problem. With all of the different packages these two will be on the field together a lot as it is. I'm with you, Richie...I think Scandrick is better and my guess is that he'll be the starter-by-default by week 3 or 4.

• why are we talking Cowboys cornerbacks (neither is more than an average player) when the Rangers are beginning a crucial series in the middle of a pennant race?

• I agree with Brad. Teams frequently have three or four corners on the field to counter spread formations, so both Jenkins and Scandrick were going to see plenty of playing time even if the other player was listed as the actual starter. Quarterback is another matter entirely.

• Richie I'm not sure this is as big of a deal at cornerback as it would be at quarterback. I don't really see the harm. However, this wouldn't even be happening but for their relative draft positions. I think Scandrick is the better player. What a find that guy was in the 5th round.

• Man. People bitch when depth is too thin (*cough*left tackle*cough*) but still find a way to bitch when you have some depth and try to find the best way to utilize it. Now, I'm not sure randomly starting one over the other is the way to go -- surely they have unique strengths and weaknesses that could be exploited in-game -- but when you have, from all appearances, two equally talented players, it doesn't make sense to relegate one to nickel packages only, does it?
