Cowboys Stadium: Um, Where's the Star?

• @scott: Congratulations..You spent hundreds of dollars so your 13 year old could watch the Cowboys game...on a TV.

• That stadium is incredible. The big screen is the clearest picture I've ever seen. My 13 yr old said he couldn't stop watching the screen for all plays. Still some issues to work out, though. PS Why did Roy Williams run out on the field with the offensive line?

• I'm sorry but football should be played outside in the elements. I guess instead of stories about pickle juice and ice games we'll have stories of when the temperature dropped below room temperature.

• I enjoyed Jody Dean announcing that Julius Jone had made a reception....Really? That was right after Deon Anderson made his play. Tough in street clothes.

• All that punting in the Alamodome to figure out how high the scoreboard needs to be, and they still fail.

• Star may not have been present yesterday; but the massive punt blocking jumbotron was definitely on hand!!

• I actually waited overnight to see if anyone pointed this out to you.There I go overestimating again.Here's the deal... Fox 4 did a story on the stadium Thursday night where,and I'll synopsize,it was explained that the Star,Ring of Honor,Super Bowl(and Emmitt's)banners and Tom Landry's statue will all be in place and/or unveiled before the Sept.20 game against the giant douchebags.
