To close out a month in which ESPN blowhard Chris Berman somehow received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, guess who's mad at sports announcers?

I love me some Steve Dennis. I mean, other than the times he puts on his Brutus the Buckeye head and crams THE Ohio State University down your throat.
The rest of the time Dennis is one of our local media's hardest workers. The guy covers everything, has pretty keen insight on most subjects and - the best part - isn't afraid to throw a high, tight fastball toward the noggin of Wade Phillips or Jon Daniels or Mark Cuban.
Not saying he's flirting with getting on my list of all-time Metroplex sports voices just yet, but I think he's earned the right to at least borrow my soap box.
Looks like Brutus, in short, wants announcers to shut the hell up (scroll down to June 28).
Anybody got a problem with that?
