I heard with ESPN's move to the new studio, they had trouble turning on their signal that is sent to the PPM's. Thus, 2 weeks without ratings.

The Hard Line did a segment this week about how people who post here are doing their own show. Are our PPM's up and running? How self-reflexive can this become? Will I stop thinking about Stepbrothers when BaD Radio goes into dry dock? Will my inner Grubes still issue a "Hell yeah, bitches" weekdays at 12:03?

It is very satisfying to hear the drop you hear in your head on the radio at the same time you hear it in your head. From time to time, it is even more satisfying to hear one ("I like taco's from Taco Bueno") that you weren't expecting.

Who else do you know that you don't know that answers your emails? You put the quarter in there, the chicken steps on the plate there, the corn drops, the chicken eats it. I made something happen!

I never get tired of that.

Well, if that theory is proven, at least the Husky Hasbeen can go on the air just as high as a kite and no one will notice the poor quality of radio since it's already a record level of garbage with that show. Geez, Williams gets more chances than Pacman. Has anyone done more with less?

I often am listening to the sports stations late late night when all three are basically the same since they're just piping in network feeds. However, there is still fun to be had:

On 103.3, during commercial breaks, count the number of "house ads" 103.3 has to run in a row in order to fill unsold advertising time. Longest so far I've counted is seven.

On 105.3, I find it funny to hear the ads at 2am promoting the Dan Patrick show.

*Sigh* I really miss the late night stylings of BDH.

my fingers are crossed that Cumulus goes bankrupt and the Ticket moves to The Fan. It would be nice to be able to get the Ticket signal 24/7.

fry away...but BDH is pretty damn good. Horrible station, crazy time (4-6) but his show is good.

I just feel sad for Greggo. He is sorely missed on the Ticket but doubt he will ever truly be back (hope I am wrong).

Washhater, to be fair it is likely that The Ticket is just giving away spots to their advertisers in some of those late night spots or for deeply discounted rates.

I know when I used to advertise on the radio, you often got late night spots thrown in with a package for prime time spots.

How many times is K-Ticket AM going to be reported dead/dying by jealous wannabe's? F the haters.

What a great day it would be if The Ticket could acquire 1053.3's fireplug signal. Oh jeez!

Does anyone know what happened to K Scott and Greg Hill on the fan?
