The Hardline made a mistake in not adding K-Scott to the team...he was by far the best replacement of Greggo that was tested out. Please Ticket, add Kevin to the Hardline, my ride home needs him.

If I'm K-Scott, every year on June 22nd I'm sending Greg Hill a shit sandwich.

Newy and Sean are horrible! So now instead of turning off THE FAN from noon to three I now have five hours of wandering around the dial. And don't tell me to listen to Norm because that voice of his makes me cry.

I don't understand the purpose of Ben and Skin taking calls if they're going to treat some good callers like shit. The guys at The Ticket do it but they don't make a point of taking calls and they have ratings. I remember a statement Ben and Skin made on their Saturday Ticket show. They said the only sport they really follow is basketball. What would they do without the internet?

Well, I guess we know which poster got dissed on the Ben and Skin show....

I wasn't a Greg Hill fan at first, but he and K-Scott were beginning to get some chemistry going.

I liked their show format, they didn't always stay glued to the same 2-3 sports stories of the day and they went above and beyond when it came to including the listener.

Not to mention, I cannot get kTicket in my office on the radio and the bandwidth of the entire office suffers when someone streams online.

If Cumulus goes bankrupt then those big Ticket contracts may be voided. Like I said last week, maybe CBS will buy KTCK and put The Ticket at 105.3 and make 1310 a sort of farm club for sports talk talent. It's a thought, so have good and get a little give.

The REASON he got cut loose was it didn't matter what his ratings were. Advertisers bolted in droves because NONE of them them wanted to be associated with a wife beater.

KScott had a death warrant the minute Greg Hill showed up. I'm sure KScott will land on his feet, let's hope it's locally.

I second the Ticket buying out 105.3 and moving there. Though the static is kinda part of the fun.

I had a short email conversation with the Catman of the Americas about kscott and apparently he didn't want to be on the Ticket for some unknown reason. Cat didn't say if he offered the Hardline spot or not, just that he didn't want to be there anymore.

Putting K-Scott with Greg Hill would be like running a pick roll with Tony Parker and Erick Dampier.

It just wasn't ever going to work because, like somebody else said, Hill was unlistenable.

The bottom line is it doesn't matter what he would pull. Advertisers won't have anything to do with him, and THAT is how the station makes their money.

I enjoyed K-Scott and Greg Hill. Entertaining talk radio that was not all sports. I will miss them. Big ups to Jesus.

I don't think the Kticketers would want to buy a station, and have to deal with all the headaches. Sales, talent $$$, etc. This is probably Rhyner's last contract, are they doing year to year right now or how long did they sign?
I enjoy listening to Rhyner still, I wish he had a better sidekick, Corby is a yuck monkey. You need guys that are even keel and mature, i.e. Musers, and yuck monkeys, i.e. Gordo and Corby, stay where they are. Gordo is way above Corby on talent, except when he's suicidal.

Greg and Kevin were gone on Friday and Ben and Skin will be gone this Friday. Sean and Newy come back next week and Dan O'Malley is telling anyone who will listen that he is going to be doing afternoon drive with Sean. That spells doom for Benjamin and Skinjamin.

Thus ushering in the return of Scott Murray to reclaim his sports throne? Huh? Huh?

This seems to all be falling into place nicely. Word being spread on this here blog is that Mike Irvin is not going to be renewed at ESPN. KScott and Marblemouth Hill are out at The Fan. Who better to bring over to the new home of the Cowboys than Mike? This whole not resigning with ESPN is going to fit in nicely just about the time training camp hits.

JJ, this means that the most formidable duo in Dallas radio will be splitting up and Sean and Newy will be with new hosts at some point in the near future. Time slots TBD but the smart money has Sean doing afternoon drive. And I like this gig. Or maybe I just misunderstood the question.

I don't know if they named the Fan that because they wanted it driven by the listeners, but to me if Ben & Skin are constantly taking phone calls it means they got nuthin to say and have run out of material. They had plenty of semi-funny stuff when filling in on 1310, but an everyday show they cannot fill. During Hardline commercial breaks I might check in on Ben & Skin, and they're always going from call to call and the subject is changing constantly. So you get one thought about the Rangers, then the Boys, then Mavs, and poor Tim Cowlishaw is praying to get reunited with Max Kellerman on Around the Horn!

They tried to imitate the cock of the walk, but they're just "2 bit Ticket imitators"...

1. Agree with most that K.Scott belongs back at the Ticket.

2. Also that Greg Hill was the problem.

3. Ben and Skin are witty, but I'd like longer, more serious sports analysis. Cowlishaw contributes little.

4. Don't mind Corby as Greggo's replacement. But I wonder how much longer the Hardline can maintain things. They don't have a Gordon Keith around to keep things exciting every day.

5. Have just about quit listening to BAD radio. Three guys in the booth is a bit much. Dan is the weakest link on the Ticket.

6. Dunham and Miller keep rolling along, making good radio look effortless.

Not sure what the station is trying to achieve from a listening audience. Its difficult to develop a following if you can’t be consistent with your programs. I have pretty much been an ESPN fan but unfortunately can’t get the station in my office. I grew to develop an interest in the 105.3 programming only to see that there is no consistency. Back to the ipod.

the greg hill and kevin scott show was the best show ever because you could call in to receive a nice and informative conversation without a wait on the line for half an hour, you get on in 2 minutes at the most, they even remember their fans of the show, i would call in saying my name and that i wear a packer beanie and they refereed to me as mitch in plano with the packer beanie, it was interesting to hear the racist comments by everyone in calling and greg hill as well, i think k scott should be on the ticket or some other show, personally i listened to it 9 to 12 almost everyday and wish that this never fucking happened....

Good luck K-Scott and Ben and Skin! These are the best guys in the business. They made my day. Sean is a great sports guy too. Very disappointed in 105.3 the fan K-Scott always had an upHILL battle.
