Cocaine is a hell of a drug...

I heard this last night, he was kind of out of it and it was distracting. Why is he off and on that show so much? Half the time he's there, half the time Mike Fisher's there, what gives?

Man I hope that's all it is, I'm pulling for Greggo.

Greggo, unfortunately "that theory cannot be proven."

He'd probably make more money and feel more at home bartending again...I'm not saying that to be mean, but it's obvious that the "radio thing" is over.

I dont listen to to the show unless I am in the car, but it seems like more and more Greg is either missing from the show or is not completely in sync with Choppy. Its a shame because so many were excited to see him come back to the airwaves. After nearly a year on ESPN he has still not even moved into a more favorable time slot. Its beginning to look more and more like the experiment was a failure..1 year from Greg will wither be in rhab and not on the air or hosting a show on the FAN.

Enough with the sick Greggo.

In Greggo's defense, I would probably need anti-depressants and/or coke in order to spend a couple of hours with that hack, generic, ESPN cooking cutter of a dimwit RJ Choppy. That guy is just awful.

I talked to greggo the other day about a business deal, two days later i called him back and he acted like he had never talked to me before. He was very incoherent when i called him back, it was so confusing trying to carry on a conversation with him..

This guy has a serious problem!!

Comforting to know that he has a big enough arsenal to take out medium-sized suburb too.

If Greggos having issues w/ his meds, then so be it, let them get adjusted, end of story. If he's back on the toot and strippers, then send him on his way back to boyd.

Here we go again.

I caught that show, and called friends and told them to listen in. We were all in agreement that he was clearly drugged. Listen to him try and spit out nucleus; he couldn't do it The guy has always laid down red hot sports opinions. I'll lay down mine. Stop feeding his addiction by handing him opportunity after opportunity, he'll just try to beat the system. He talked about pissing away the job of a lifetime on the Ticket. I think he just pissed away his second chance. Let's not kid ourselves. The guy was clearly stoned, and I for one have grown tired of his shtick. He can decide on his own terms if he wants to recover after he has lost it all. That's usually the way that it works in life. I wish him the best but I'll just move up the dial if they turn a blind eye.

As I recall, Greggo became the radion personality that he was by being himself and spouting his back porch, country witticisms. Now that this same personality has led him down a dark path, he has no professionalism as a broadcaster, journalist or true sports authority to fall back on and save him from becoming a sad parody of himself.
I do hope this is exactly as he said it is, but it is very difficult to have that kind of trust from a habitual liar.

And man, I listened to a segment of their show last night and heard Choppy trying to do their version of Why Today Doesn't Suck, and couldn't help but cringe at how lame and completely unfunny it was. Sad..........

I guess these days The Ticket isn't big on honesty or as they say full disclosure. Maybe Cumulus won't allow them to talk about their situation. I guess the days of unpaid vacation started today with Dan and Corby. Dan said he was taking the day off. Corby called in with some hoof and mouth story. It would be great drama if Cumulus went bankrupt and The Ticket was bought by CBS.

No conspiracies, the 5 days of unpaid vacation is a fact. Like I said the guys at The Ticket probably can't talk about it but it is true. The information has been reported in other markets and nationally for a week. No one has said anything in this market until Richie did on his Whitt's End post on Friday. Corby may be sick but no one discloses any thing at The Ticket like they did before. I guess you can thank Cumulus the power of radio.

While it is true that Cumulus employees are being required to take a 5 day furlough. The on air ticket guys are not. They are the one exception in the market.

If the on-air guys avoid the furlough, I would imagine it has something to do with them having contracts whereas sales, promotions, and engineers are at-will employees without contracts.

Anti-depressants don't have an impactful change that quickly and to such a degree that it would cause that kind of behavior.

It is too bad that Greggo is taking the Roy Tarpley path through life. He has to really understand he is running out of second chances.

Even if this excuse were actually true, Greg has to be more self-aware at this point and manage these things better behind the scenes by keeping those around him informed of any legitimate changes so they can help him.

The fact that he did not seemingly relate the problem until after the fact makes the legitimacy of it very questionable.

Greggo, if you are lying to everyone around you again you are in big trouble. You have to catch yourself now and come clean. Or else it is only a matter of time.

*Potential Breaking News*

Just looked on ESPN website and under the tab "More Shows' it used to say "Choppy and Greggo" it now says "Gamenight".

There is no mention of Greggo any where on the "Gamenight" tab and his blogs have been removed.

Could we have breaking news that Greggo's back on this sick?

Richie, have you called to check up on this only to be lied to again?
