If you liked Live 105.3 FM, chances are your affection is growing for Rational Radio KMNY 1360 AM.

No, Russ Martin isn't resurfacing just yet. Awaiting his July trial, he's wisely biting his lip and cashing his checks.

But just a month after Live-ex Richard Hunter debuted on 1360 AM comes tomorrow's launch of a new show hosted by familiar voices ...

Pugs & Kelly.

The duo left Live 105.3 last July and had a short stint at 93.3 The Bone that ended in March. Starting Wednesday, they'll host a weekday 1-4 p.m. on 1360 AM, leading into Hunter's 4-6 p.m. offering.

I used to check out their show on Live but lost track of them at The Bone. I'll give them a listen. You?

I listen, but what else r they gonna do.They have proven they have no talent like Obama has no ideas. They drift from station to station and desperate stations are born every day.Kelly can't do anything unless she is on her back or knees. She failed in Corpus and still seems to be following the same failure path. Pugs........... well he is Pugs and that says it all, which is not very much.These 2 r used up and and have NO real talent to speak of.
I like P&K in the beginning at 105.3, but then they got to the point all they did basically was an extended commercial, little if any entertainment. I might listen to see if they have gotten back to their roots or if they are still just a long boring infomercial, also, I agree, Pugs should just come out on the air and get it over with.
You�re talking about actions. If the ACTIONS taken at the mosque violate the law, they should be punished. At this point, �conservatives� want the government to restrict speech. That�s wrong, and it will backfire.

Oh please I couldn't stand Pugs & kelly on 105.3. Never listen to them on the Bone, even after 105.3 turned into sports junk. They have not figured out why they can't keep gigs. Same Dribble/whinning. I always called it Pugs and Sometimes Kelly speaks show. No Thanks I will NEVER listen to them.
You know something, unless P&K hire back Sybil, they're never going to amount to anything. Once she left, all the talent left with her. It's a miracle, considering the fact they burned their bridges with CBS and up in Chicago, that they got a second chance in this market with The Bone until the Cumulus curse snuffed it out. I sometimes get 1360 AM, sometimes I don't, depending on whatever electronic interference is present. It's too much of a chore for me just to tune into that station. Besides, I can get most of the content off of the Huffington Post. I can remember a time with Pugs and Craig Gass at Curtain Club on a Sunday night, key bumps? No, think lines, massive lines right on the outside table, it was some local show with that Chad or Chaz guy. Pugs was a fun guy, and he had wicked good blow. I wish him luck. Kelley? I'd bang her, if she'd shut up. I get the signal just fine in Burleson.
Richard Hunter, I almost always disagree with his political views and many of his social views, but he is a great interviewer and debater. I can usually agree to disagree because he simply has different views but he can support his opinions and not just spew hatred. P & K: I liked you on 105.3, but after that it has been a slippery slope. I'm sorry but I don't find your shows relative, entertaining, or engaging anymore. I will give em one last try...... no promises though
I like P&K but they are running out of options. If they don't get their act straight all thats left for them is KNON..or NOAA weather radio. Good luck!!
The Ticket has great rating but if it's making money it's one of the few Cumulus owned stations that are with a 24% drop in rev. this quarter and that's an improvement. WBAP which is owned by Clear Channel is far worse. This may be the end of huge radio host contracts and companies that own hundreds of stations.
@Buster Banjo Actually Buster, in Dallas the top revenue stations in DFW are on the AM dial i.e. the TICKET and WBAP.
LOL! Wow ... AM? Finally these liberal yankee chumps are where they belong. Rotting on AM Radio. I suggest they submit a resume to Wal Mart for the greeter position. That would be a nice upgrade in pay. Moving liberal radio to Texas, bust. Watching the "Fatty and Fugly Show" get flushed to AM... PRICELESS! I give it three weeks before someone sees them hitch hiking back to Michigan or where ever the hell they are from.

1360 is a 50,000 watt daytimer, meaining it is more than 5x stronger than TICKET in the daytime, but powers down at night.

I saw Pugs drunk off his ass on Lower Greenville about 5 years ago. He walked out of the bar with a full beer and got into a scrap with the door man over it. I get 1360 just fine in Oak Cliff.
I live in fort worth I get 1360 in my car just fine. 1310 doesn't come in at all! I'll give p&k a shot. Maybe they'll grow on me like big dick did.
I think it's great that P&K will be back on a station followed by BDH. P&K are a great way to help pass the afternoon. They aren't right-wing loudmouth blow hards, they are just like regular people talking about funny things that happen to them. BDH is one of the great interviewers of our generation. Way to go 1360.
I think this is great news! I have never heard of 1360 but if P and K are back then I am there.
Piss and Smelly (see what I did there!?) suck. They've sucked since at least 2007...or whenever Sybil left the show and Eric started being a regular. I don't care about their stupid kids, Kelly's cookie tips, what lame show they'll 'give 5 minutes to.' If I wanted to listen to married people talk about inane shit I'd call up my parents and talk to them. Ugh. Fuck P&K seriously. Needless to say, I won't be listening. I still like BDH, though.

During the summer The Ticket signal is ok but it's the winter that sucks. In the early morning or after 5 pm I give up the static fight. I guess those who listened to hockey on 820 are going to get the shock of their lives if they live 15 miles outside the loop.
I'll tune in. I listened pretty often when they were on Young Country. Kelly is hot and Pugs seems like a pretty cool guy. I'll give it a chance.
I picked up 1310 past Waco. Surprised the heck out of me. Yet I can hardly ever hear 1360 In N. Dallas area, especially after dark. And besides BDH, the station sucks anyways. I turned it on one morning hoping to hear some hardcore leftist agenda and it was two yentas yapping about shopping or some such. And BDH only on from 4-6? Appreciate ya pal appreciate ya but thats it thats it no no no no.

I listen to 1360 all the time..since Richard Hunter been on anyway. I have no problem getting the channel in my car and at work. I don't listen to the radio for music anymore, and I don't wanna talk sports all day. I am liberal, but alot of 1360 show hosts are too serious. I love how Richard Hunter makes talking politics actually funny. I also miss P&K's very casual all over ver the place banter. It's good to hear radio where the talk shows hosts don't think they're god's gift to the world...or the leader of a political party.
Can't get the Ticket signal in North Richardson? That sounds a little shady. I live in Allen and have no problem receiving the signal. There are time you may have to jump around from 1310 to 1700 to 104.1 but there is always a signal. Thank God for presets! And it is well worth it not have to listen to the over-important egos on ESPN Radio or the Ticket Wannabes on 105.3.
How many chances are these two going to get?

Investor, I live in North Richardson and can't get the Ticket at my house! I feel you man. It has opened the door, WIDE OPEN, for 105.3, and I'm digging it more. I wasn't previously a fan of Jagger, but now I tune in every morning. I would be 100% ticket, just can't pick it up and have no urge whatsoever to buy an HD radio.
I can pick up 1360 will no problem. I have been enjoying listening to BDH even though I don't agree with all his liberal views. He is a good interviewer. I am looking forward to hearing P&K again! I enjoy talk format and have been forced to listen to sports station since the demise of the 105.3 talk format.

Oh HELLLLLLLL no... Those two are nearly as unlistenable as Richard Hunter (who brings a whole new dimension to godawful)... Pugs should just finally go full gay and fellate Richard Hunter on the air... odds are he's done it several times behind the scenes...

I live in Addison and have no problem getting the signal for 1360. I for one am excited they are back to the talk format and away from The Bone.
@DirtyP1 Now you know what it's like for Ticket P1s living in southern Dallas County. The days of radio host making 6 figures is over and a movement back to local run radio stations may be the future. Take a look at those companies who own a large amount of stations. Cumulus Clear Channel and many others are bleeding money big time and some are near bankrupt. Go and Google Cumulus Media and check out their last quarter. A 24% drop in revenues with a negative cash flow and that was an improvement.
Dude-because they aren't getting PAID to be on 1360. They are doing it for some side deal or cut of 'show sponsorships' or something. 1360am is a Tarrant County signal, so unless you are there you won't hear them here.
1360's signal is worse than the Ticket's, so no. I can't even pick that freaking thing up. The only way I can check it out is if it's streaming. Another question, if P&K came from a powerhouse like 105.3 and they were making 6 figures, how can some dicey radio station that we can't even hear afford them?
