Texas Stadium - Star Rolled Up.jpg
Going ... going ...
Weird to have the visitation two months after the funeral. But hey, it's Texas Stadium, don't let the effed-up order deter your ogling.

If you haven't yet paid your last respects to the house that Tom Landry built, Troy Aikman upgraded and Jerry Jones sentenced to the wrecking ball, this weekend is your latest last chance. Some of us long ago eulogized the joint with our favorite memories and even a photographic tour prior to the final game on Dec. 20.

But, better late than never, the Cowboys - just four months and a George Strait concert from opening their new digs in Arlington - are holding a Farewell Fan Fest Saturday and Sunday at The Corral (Gate 8).

Cowboys' players, cheerleaders and, yep, even Rowdy will be on hand for the festival, which runs Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Parking and admission are free and memorabilia - pieces of goal posts, signage and parts of lockers, etc. - will be on sale.

As if that isn't enough to lure you out for a sad sayonara, 105.3 The Fan - ahem, I keep telling you it's going to be the very-near-future flagship home of the Cowboys - will broadcast live Saturday 1-4 p.m. with host Mike Ogulnick and a dorky sidekick who moonlights as the proprietor of this here Sportatorium.

I'll be the one dabbing tears.
