Sean Avery Out; Terrell Owens In. Two Assholes; Two Approaches

• Easy answer: Avery is disposable, Owens is not. If Avery was a top player, he would still be around and the incident would have been swept under the rug. If Terrell Owens was a #3 receiver, he would never have made it to Dallas to begin with. It really comes down to risk vs. reward. Most teams will put up with BS as long as the player's ability makes him worth keeping. If Miles Austin had HALF of TO's attitude, he would be flipping burgers right now. That's just the way it is.

• I never saw why Sean Avery's comments were so egregious that it warranted NHL suspension and being kicked off the Stars. Stars used his comments as an excuse to get rid of him. However, looking at their injuries and record, maybe they should've kept him. TO should go. We have Roy Williams now. He should be treated same as Sean Avery, but Hicks is no Jerry Jones.

• I imagine if Owens was only a minor player on the team, he would be gone. As long as Jerry thinks he needs Owens to win, Jerry will keep him around.
