UPDATE: The Greg Williams Aftermath -- Live Radio Discussion

Tue Jul 15, 2008 at 08:00:21 AM

I guess the head honchos over at Live 105.3 read my post yesterday and agreed that it was odd to have me on to discuss the implosion of a popular radio show while in the midst of a sorta similar crisis themselves. Something to do with Pugs & Kelly's depature I think. But, don't ask me, one radio drama is all I can handle for now.

Anyway, I won't be on live today at noon. Instead, I'll tape an interview with Big Dick Hunter to be played tonight at 10. Adjust your iPhone alerts accordingly.-- Richie Whitt

Name that Dude Singing Like a Rolling Stone says:

Do I smell a possible bidding war between 105.3 and ESPN for the services of Greggo? One of Greggo's close friends, BDH is already over there. Think they would offer more than $72k/year?

need to get my teeth fixed says:

0% chance of Hammer making it back on DFW radio. It would've almost impossible before the article but now ...

Suicide, guns, coke addiction, depression, blatant lies on top of cartoon Robot Greggo persona and host of other Ticket caricatures? he's a friggin punch line

maybe in '1310 The Movie' he can play Tony Montana

just me says:

Richie,

No offense, but I think that the chances of most of us listening at 10 are slim to none. Any chance you can post the audio?

Yes, I'll post a link to the interview for all you geezers who hit the hay at sundown.

Wait, Pugs and Kelly were shit-canned? They'd be smart to get Greggo in if that really is the case.

Greggo and his buddy Big Dick, afternoons on Live 105.3. Bad Radio would absolutely HATE to hear that.

Richie, is this interview going to be played on 105.3? That was a little unclear. Need to know where to roll tape.

Any word from Dub'ya?

turn my front says:

Hey Ritchie! Ask Greggo why he turned his back on all of us that emailed him to wish him well. A simple thanks would have been nice from the selfish rick with a "P"

Geez, what is it with these overly sensitive radio execs? Hope they don't put the kibosh on the taped segment, too!

Sideshow Bob

AJ says:

I'd go ahead and blame DENNIS for this.

harold says:

When will you post the link to the 105 interview, Richie?

bingo says:

Since Richie Whitt's talents were passed over TWICE at the ticket he has become the Perez Hilton of Dallas radio. Bet his parents are soo proud.
