Do You Believe In Miracles? Yet?!
I know we're all immersed in Ticket talk, but after watching last night's Josh Hamilton walk-off homer I had two thoughts:
1. Wow.
2. Are we starting to believe this team is special?-- Richie Whitt

1. Yes, wow.
2. No, but they're fun to watch.
Are you basking in the afterglow that is, what I can only assume, one of your best recieved articles ever?
Still planning to have some form of "chat" today?
Posted On: Thursday, Jul. 10 2008 @ 10:16AMThere are a lot of good things happening, but I'm still not ready to annoint this team just yet. There have been too many disappointments over the years. And you would think that their luck with young guys playing so well just has to run out at some point. Also let's not forget the Rangers' graveyard that is the month of August. If they are still playing well halfway through August then we may have something.
Posted On: Thursday, Jul. 10 2008 @ 10:23AMi have to admit that was a pretty exciting finish. don't see that much in baseball. i don't know about the "special" thing yet, but they are fairly entertaining. let's see if they can avoid their annual 'cowboy swoon', then we'll know if this team is different from those of previous years.
Posted On: Thursday, Jul. 10 2008 @ 10:25AMI will have to vote with the other two commenters. I need to see them carry this on through the entire season. I have had too many hopes dashed after the All-Star break. How many times have we seen them do well and be leading against KC back when they were in the Central only to wilt in the late summer? Call me jaded, cynical and demanding, but I want to see them carry this momentum all the way through to the end of the season. I don't expect or demand that they close the gap between themselves and the Halos, but I want to see them remain steady and avoid the precipice. It will take a while before I am ready to anoint them as "special".
And on a side note, it really and truly sucks that I can't choose which FSN I want on my tube or my local channels. I am so tired of Astros talk and games on my media.
Of all the still shots to identify this clip, the poster HAD to pick the close-up crotch shot of the umpire walking off after the home run. What a homo.

do remember, the rangers always look good before the all star break. Then its downhill as usual. Talk about "believing in them" in september.
