Jerry Seinfeld is Coming to Dallas

A Seinfeld sighting in 2013 is a rare event, but Dallas gets one on Saturday, June 8, according to a fresh press release from the AT&T Performing Arts Center. If you want a shot at tickets to see this notorious neurotic, you'll want to hover over your keyboards next Friday morning, April 19 at 10 a.m. when tickets go on sale to the public.

Showtimes will be 7 p.m. and 9:30 at the Winspear, a lovely place for a big comedy show. Prices were not available. Expect to take out a small bank loan.

To prepare: Spend some time with Seinfeld's hit-or-miss web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the New York Times' recent profile and, if you didn't see it, the documentary Comedian.

Also: Here's Seinfeld talking about his process ...

... and here's Drew Magary telling him to shut the hell up.

We went to his last show...what I remember most was that there was product placement in literally EVERY joke/bit that he did. Do you not have enough money already, Jerry?

It was distracting. $80+ each for tickets bothered me much less than hear specific brand names repeated over and over (and feeling like we paid to hear a very long commercial).

Is he actually going to surprise anybody and tell a funny joke? The Mayans did predict an apocalypse.

In other news, I'm taking a big dump tomorrow morning and flushing without looking...

Seinfeld made out like a bandit on his fab ensemble TV cast.  He's as dull as dishwater.

@Myrna.Minkoff-Katz You realize Seinfeld had a hand in writing every single episode...they wouldn't be so fab without brilliant content.
