Funny that it is unbelievable that life MAGICALLY evolved over billions of years, but totally believable to be MAGICALLY created over the course of a week. There is literally a mountain of evidence for evolution. It has endured scrutiny more extreme than any other field in science. This is a testament to the validity of Evolution.

Seems like a troll post to get all the millitant atheists up and chest-thumping.

Perhaps the word "Science" in the title of the museum would have given this airhead a hint?

I know enough intelligent people who hold the same beliefs as the OP to think that, unfortunately, this probably isn't a troll.

"Rational People" believe in methodical, scientific evaluation based on empirical evidence and consensus, i.e., the best minds in the world working with actual factual info and critically evaluating each other's claims. It is not "rational" to base scientific claims on one's personal religious belief about their own scripture. Most Christians do not believe that Christian faith entails a "Creationist" psuedo-science, not to mention the billions of non-Christians who don't even acknowledge that scripture.

This is probably a troll...but, when I visited this weekend, I did overhear a a couple of very "Sheltering Suburban Parents" telling their kids that there were "so many things the museum got wrong" and that "they would discuss it in the car". EDIT: The museum is excellent. Certainly worth a visit. Now, if only the parents of obnoxious children would get their kids in check instead of letting them run amok, it would be perfect.

I overheard a 8-9 yr old question an adult recently about "the atheist museum"... he was referring to the Perot, so I totally buy this as being authentic.

The grammar and sentence structure is too good...it's a troll.

I saw this yesterday too! It's a Science Museum!! I will say that the only propaganda I ever felt like I encountered was that whole level on energy. Something about that floor feels icky. Good thing they mixed it with the minerals to "oooh" and "awww" over. I went on opening day, obviously it was packed, but I still enjoyed it. Went back yesterday, seems like a lot of the hands on exhibits were broken. Maybe the 3rd time will be a charm. Overall..I like the place.

@genrox I saw those little ragamuffins banging on the interactive exhibits.  No wonder half of them had "Out For Repair" signs on them.

Bwaaahahahaha! What a moron! I took my kids there on Saturday, and we all had an amazing time. It's a beautiful museum.

They need to create times when the place is free of busloads of unruly school students running around unsupervised and out of control.

@genrox @Myrna.Minkoff-Katz I can't wait to do one of these  The museum is freakin' awesome.  The parents who let their kids run wild and destroy the interactive exhibits are not awesome.
