The World Affairs Council presents a rare opportunity for North Texans to hear from one of the most important historical figures of our time, Dr. Henry Kissinger, on March 15, 2013. A specially priced pre-sale of tickets for World Affairs Council members begins on Monday, December 3 and ends on Friday, December 7. We invite attendees to become members today to take advantage of the pre-sale members-only pricing. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Saturday, December 8. The Council will present Dr. Henry Kissinger at a luncheon on Friday, March 15, 2013. The program will begin at noon, registration opens at 11:30 a.m., at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, 2201 N. Stemmons Freeway.
"In our lifetime, few people have had an impact on our nation's foreign policy like Dr. Kissinger," said Jim Falk, president & CEO of the World Affairs Council. "We are honored to present him to the North Texas community. His insights on foreign affairs and diplomacy are highly regarded and debated. He brings vast experience to his unique perspective on America's future role on the global stage and, in particular, our relations with China."
As 56th Secretary of State, Dr. Kissinger received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977. Dr. Kissinger serves now as chairman of Kissinger Associates, Inc., an international consulting firm he founded in 1982.
The public can become members of the Council in order to purchase significantly reduced-rate tickets from December 3 to December 7, by visiting www.dfwworld.org/goglobal or calling (214) 965-8400. The price of an individual ticket during the pre-sale time frame is $85. Once the pre-sale has closed, tickets will be $100 for Council members and their guests and $150 for non-members. Tables of 10 will be sold at $2,500.
