Dallas Symphony Orchestra's 2013 Gala will Be Headlined by Grammy Winner Reneé Fleming

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra announced on Thursday that soprano Reneé Fleming will join Jaap van Zweden and the orchestra for next year's AT&T gala. This black tie event, which will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2013, is the DSO's largest single fundraising event and typically features a big name guest performer. World-famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma performed at the 2012 gala.
Reneé Fleming is a three-time Grammy winner who was named the 2012 Female Singer of the Year by the German Echo awards. No word yet on what this diva will belt out on stage at the Meyerson next fall.
