Look At These Stunning Pictures From The 2012 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes
Due to its cobbled together nature, Dallas isn't immediately thought of as an architectural hub. We demolish and rebuild, giving our downtown and skyline an often bizarre outfitting of eras and stylistic decisions. To truly see the best of Dallas architecture, you need to venture into the residential areas, a fact proven this weekend during the 2012 AIA Dallas Tour Of Homes, happening this Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th. The tour generously shared some advance photos with us for you to ogle over. Please don't drool on your work computer.

Let's do a visual breaking and entering to the above-pictured residence that sits gloriously on Caruth Boulevard. It's eco-savy, boasting a Gold LEED certification and was created by architect/owner Tom Reisenbichler. It was photographed by Brett Janak.
I bet it smells so good in there.

Their outdoor furniture is much nicer than my indoor furniture.

I wouldn't dirty this beautiful kitchen with food preparation. Instead, I would drink wine until passing out, with my face pressed against those smooth, wooden walls.
