13 Awesome Things To Do This Weekend in Dallas: August 2 to 5

Drew Merritt's Show at W.A.A.S. Gallery -- This is going to be a big one. W.A.A.S. chooses interesting artists and Merritt's work is no exception. It's graphic, a little bit dangerous and all kinds of hip. The Glut Life is getting involved, too and showing off some experimental food stuffs at the party. Don't miss it.

'N Sink: A Regenerating Light Garden Pop-Up Show
-- Our favorite "Outlaw" art collective is back, and they're flexing. According to me, this is the show of the weekend, so if you get to nothing else on this list, make it to this one. There's performance art by Dallas' most phenomenal duo, Slik Stockings, a television graveyard garden and yes, the music of 'N Sync.

Sunday 8.5
Endless Summer at the F.O.E. -- Yep, it's the only event I'm listing for Sunday because it's the only one you need. This party will please everyone, so get there early. It's being thrown by House of Plates and it goes down smoother than three micheladas in the hundred degree heat. There's a retro swimwear fashion show, a music versus food volleyball tournament and DJs. Somehow it's still just seven bucks at the door. Yes, you're THAT LUCKY.

You left out going to Maple Avenue Boxing Gym this Friday @ 3.00pm to cheer on Dallas' Errol Spence Jr as he competes in the US Olympics.
