Artist Mikki Mallow is Living and Working in the Fairmont Hotel, and Needs Visitors
The Fairmont announced yesterday that Dallas-based artist Mikki Mallow has been chosen as artist-in-residence through September. Mallow, focusing on a bright and bold portraiture series entitled I'm Seeing Someone, has been living at the Fairmont and working in its translucent studio since the first of the month.

I'm Seeing Someone is an ongoing, year-long project set to culminate in 2013. As part of the Fairmont program -- in partnership with Ross Akard Gallery -- guests are encouraged to check out Mallow's work in progress, ask questions and gain a first-hand glimpse into the creative process during listed open studio hours and by appointment. Check out these badass photos of Mallow's Fairmont takeover from the artist's official Facebook page.
