Lights All Night drew over 40,000 people to the Dallas Convention Center in 2013
If you've been eagerly awaiting news of Dallas' annual year-end EDM extravaganza, Lights All Night, then today should be a good day. Or at least a mostly good one.

The promotional folks over at Highland Concerts and MCP Presents gave us a little tease this morning of this year's festivities when they announced the official dates of the show -- December 26 and 27 -- as well as the presale dates for buying tickets.

The rest, however, remains tightly under wraps.

LAN, which celebrates its fifth installment in 2014, has quickly grown to be the preeminent dance festival in Dallas. Last year's event, headlined by EDM megastars Deadmau5, drew a reported 40,000 attendees over its two nights. Whether or not you're the type to fling insults at the Skrillexes of the world (pro tip: get over it), those kinds of numbers are nothing to scoff at. Other major draws have included Avicii, Tiesto, Kaskade, and Major Lazer.

Special "Early Bird" two-day passes go on sale a week from today, May 13, at noon via the LAN website. Depending on how you want to experience this 18+ madness, you have the chance to drop some serious bank: the presale passes start at a "discounted rate" of $135, climb to $200 for VIP, and go as high as $499 for Platinum VIP. Then again, based on the amount of fun these folks had, those prices could be well worth it.

The big question now, of course, is what kind of stops will be pulled out by Scott Osborn and his team as they celebrate five years of LAN, which appears to have settled in nicely at its Dallas Convention Center home. We'll have to wait a couple months to find out who will be playing, but we can always dream.

Who would you like to see at LAN this year? Tell us in the comments below.
