Here's the Full Lineup for the Dallas Observer St. Patrick's Day Concert on Greenville
You can't have a true St. Patrick's Day concert without a few staples: a mega-ton of beer, a sea of green-covered people who may or may not look that way because they've had more than their fair share of said beer, and a long list of bands and performers.
We've already announced that hip-hop giant Ludacris will headline our St. Paddy's Day spectacular on March 15 at Energy Square, at the corner of Greenville Avenue and University Boulevard. Here are the other groups we've tapped to perform with him.
Boston's Carter Schultz and David van Mering, better known together as the acoustic-pop duo Aer, will be part of the festivities. The two are best known for hits off their top-selling iTunes EPs such as What You Need and Feel I Bring.
East Dallas' own Party Police will also be on stage to help keep the party going, with songs about excessive drinking and the more shapely parts of the female anatomy like "Daysted" and "Totally Bitchin'."
Rapid fire Arlington rapper Sam Lao will also be part of the show, performing some of her more popular hits such as "Haze" and "Pilgrims."
Seth and Shawn Magill's Home by Hovercraft will start the show with songs from their indie rock registry, such as "Waking Sleeping" and "Lie in Your Bed."
VIP tickets are sold out but you can still see all five acts for one general admission ticket, which are available through TicketFly. Fifteen bucks in advance, 20 at the door.
Gates are at noon, music starts at 12:30, and the show goes until Luda is done throwin' bows, sometime around 6 or 6:30. More information here.
