Kanye West Yeezus Screenings in Dallas Tonight: Locations and Times Here

Categories: DFW Music News

And on the fourth day, Yeezus walked onto the Internet. Kanye West's sixth studio solo album has officially leaked onto the Internet, preceding its June 18 release. The 10-track project titled Yeezus is here, and it is good. But that's not all for Dallas rap fans. West has announced a new installment of projections over various buildings throughout America will be taking place tonight. After being left off the list for the projected video debut for "New Slaves" a few weeks back, Dallas has been invited to the party this time around. There will be five screenings, each slotted for a half hour, of a yet-to-be-announced visual.

Dallas is slated for five 30-minute screenings tonight at Union Station, Majestic Theatre, Union House, Double-Wide and Esplanade Place. Other cities have had issues with police intervention during the "New Slaves" premiere, shutting down some screenings altogether. It is strongly advised to arrive early, and to act like you have some home training. It's hard to tell at this point how the DPD will respond to West's particular brand of guerrilla marketing, but let's not let one jackass ruin this for all of us.

DC9 will be hitting as many screenings as possible and keeping you updated on Twitter.

Union Station - 9:30 to 10 p.m. - On Houston, between Wood and Young
Majestic Theatre - 10:30 to 11 p.m. - 1925 Elm St. #500
Doublewide - 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. - 3510 Commerce St.
Esplanade Place - 1:30 to 2 a.m. - On Perry Avenue, between Washington and 1st
Union House - 12:30 to 1 a.m. - Elm Street and North Good Latimer Expressway

How much is the Observer getting to promote this whiny, hypocritical, racist asshole. Whatever potential he had was lost a long time ago.

Nah man you butthurt. You took time out of your day to comment about not liking Kanye when you could've ignored it. That's butthurt.

Chris Martin, why are so pissed about something that happened years ago? He apologized and she made millions off a song she wrote about it. Plus, he's not racist, his baby mama is white. Get a grip dude. Kanye does like fish dicks though, pretty weird.

Apparently it wasn't good enough to win. So by this jackass' logic we should all go around throwing tantrums when we don't agree with something? I would expect no less from a Kanye fan.

Glad to know the Dallas Observer promotes such a racist, crybaby, who snatches the microphone out of a womans hands during an award show simply because the black artist in the category didn't win.

@Christopher Martin Wasn't that like 3-4 years ago? I think it might be time to get over it. It also might be time to recognize that he was probably right.
