This weekend, 102.1 FM The Edge brought a its annual music festival to FC Dallas stadium in Frisco. The lineup was eclectic -- we went straight from '90s grunge mainstay Bush to French synth-pop band Phoenix. The clothing worn by fans was similarly eclectic -- everything from goth to pool party. We talked to a few people who caught our eye about their concert-going attire.

I think the last decent Edgefest was in like 97 or something.

Observer somehow has the bloodhound like ability to find douchey people.

Good job, Observer for picking the most disgusting people at Edgefest to use as "examples" for this article.  It reminds me of anytime we have a tornado in Texas and the news stations interview the toothless woman in her muu muu and curlers smoking a cigarette in front of trailer/meth lab.  Speaking of, I wonder if "Jenn" knew her bra was hanging out and if so, did she intend for it to be about as sexy as a bra you'd buy out of the back of a Sunday paper coupon insert?  Ick.  Maybe her mom should have told her what to wear like her friend's mom did.

I went to the first Edgefest and several after that, but last year was my first time in about 10 years.  It's just not the same.  The bands usually aren't as good, the venue is not as fun and the majority of those in attendance are well... see above for reference.  The kids today seem to try too hard to be different and ultimately, they're about as unique as everyone else.

Jake's parents must be so proud.

@ChrisYu This is Jake's mother.  He told me he made it onto a fashion website and I just would like you to know that actually I am very proud of my son.

It takes a big man to hide behind a computer screen doesn't it.  I wonder if your parents would be proud to know you take time out of your day to make rude assumptions and tear down others through the anonymity of the internet.  I bet not.

For God's sake he's a high school senior.
Grow up 'Chris'--Jake will.
