Tickets go on sale Friday to see punk warhorses Bad Religion, who are making a pit stop in Dallas after the release of their brand spankin' new album, True North, next week. We'll see if the 34-year-old group still has stuff to be angry about.

We already told you about the first round of acts announced for Spillover 2013, Deep Ellum's one-day event that culls together acts who are still on the road from South by Southwest. New bands just announced: Alex Bleeker & the Freaks, The Coathangers, Ducktails, Parenthetical Girls, Parquet Courts, Today is the Day and Young Widows.

The last time I saw BRMC was at South by Southwest a few years back, and the fog excreting from the fog machine was so dense that when the lights hit it, you couldn't see the stage. It was like all of Austin was being serenaded with BRMC's gritty folk, as performed by a posse of ghosts.
