The Faint Does 'Danse Macabre'
Tuesday, November 27, at House of Blues, $25

In celebrating Saddle Creek's release of the deluxe version of 2001's Danse Macabre, The Faint has decided to play the album in its entirety, live, for the first time. Because the album is only 35 minutes long, they promise to fill out the show with some new material, as well as some old favorites. Be sure to strap on your "dansing" shoes. Omaha's Icky Blossoms and Toronto duo Trust open.

Rush
Wednesday, November 28, at American Airlines Center, $46.50-$126.50

On the heels of the 30th anniversary of Rush's 1982 release, Signals, the band cranked out their 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels, and embarked on a three-month-long North American tour. A quick glance at this tour's setlists shows that they're divvying up the old and the new. Check out our interview with human meme Steve Moore, aka "This Drummer Is At the Wrong Gig" guy, for his words of wisdom about Neil Peart's kit.

Old Crow Medicine Show
Thursday, November 29, at House of Blues, $35

Nashville-based country-folk band Old Crow Medicine Show are currently touring their most recent release, Carry Me Back, and for many Dallas show-goers this week, it will. Former BR549 singer Chuck Mead opens, with his Grassy Knoll Boys.

Daniel Hart
Thursday, November 29, at The Where House, $5

Catch multi-instrumentalist/violinist Daniel Hart with his full band at Fort Worth's underground warehouse space, for a more intimate show setting and decently-priced booze.
