UPDATE: Dallas Fun Fun Fun Fest Scavenger Hunt Set For September 22

Update: Registration for Saturday's event will take place at Libertine Bar, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Make sure to follow @FunFunFunBIGD on Twitter for extra clues. The finish line will be in the lounge at Bryan Street Tavern at 9 p.m., and the after-party will feature a set from LiL iFFy, a "paranormal-rap phenom."

The annual Fun Fun Fun Fest scavenger hunts, in which the limits of taste and dignity are pushed in hopes of snagging a wristband for the November festival, have been announced in Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

If you've never experienced one, basically you are given a set of tasks you must perform, sending you scrambling around various places in your city, like Midnight Madness but way less wholesome. A couple of last year's tasks included getting video of a team member eating mayo in a bathroom, and a picture of a dog lapping water out of your mouth. So, dress appropriately, lest there be projectile vomiting.

Next Saturday, September 22, you will see the depraved depths some people will sink to in order to see Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and The Octopus Project. If that's your thing, you should enter a team. The in-person registration venue tentatively announced is ~~Sundown at the Granada~~Libertine Bar, but check back early next week for the solid details.
