Andrew Delaney Gives Us "Whiskey and Pills"
Local folk-rock artist Andrew Delaney, along with his band, The Horse You Rode In On, has steadily improved over three years and two studio albums. He's created a catalog that isn't easily defined, yet is easily accessible. In a live setting, he and his band are able to give even his most intricately written tunes a thumping heart.
Delaney's latest offering, the live album That One Time At Tom & Cary's, hits iTunes this week, and he'll be celebrating the release with a show on Friday, September 28, at the Plano Love & War in Texas, where Canadian Americana stud Corb Lund will also be performing. To give folks an idea of what to expect, Delaney has given us one of the new songs, the jazz-hands worthy "Whiskey and Pills."
