Tonight: Meet Us In the Ladies Room (On Indie-Verse)

Categories: DFW Music News

The fine folks over at Indie-Verse had a severe lapse in judgment and offered myself, Mixmaster editor Jamie Laughlin and The Overserved columnist Deb Doing Dallas a weekly radio show, which will air on Friday evenings. It's called The Ladies Room, and we will serve as your guide to the weekend, offering recommendations for music, arts and nightlife events, playing lady-centric songs and testing out a signature cocktail, in an effort to get you ready for your night.

Tune in to the first show tonight at 8pm. We drink Brass Monkeys, talk about sitcom moms and discuss recasting the "Ladies Night" video.

Iskander, McDonald form like Voltron.  We need an "Bro Radio Bro" hour in the interest of equality.

1) I would totally listen to that Gav.

B) Since we are the first chicks on the station, with a lady-focused hour, I think the bros have had a pretty good run. Just since you bring up, "equality." ;)

The other shows were hosted by hosts who just happened to be men.  And Cha Cha was the Neil Armstrong of ladies radio on Indie-verse.  And battles of the sexes help ratings.

Cha Cha exists in a separate universe of good, above our petty gender wars.
