Who Should Bon Iver Collaborate With Next?
With the news this week that former Dallas/current Minneapolis rapper Andy Bothwell, aka Astronautalis, is collaborating with Bon Iver on a new album, it made us think of his recent collabo with The Flaming Lips, and his James Blake team-up. Is Justin Vernon like one of those rappers you pull in for a dope verse, but for white indie guys? Here are artists he could pair with for maximum effect.

He needs to show he's in tune with the ladies. Let's add Mary J. Blige, too. Basically anyone who's been on VH1 Divas.
Justin Timberlake and Justin Broadrick
The pop star turned actor, the vocal force behind metal legends Jesu and Godflesh and Vernon all join forces for The Justinz, the world's oldest boy band. Not gonna lie, this might actually be good.

The rapper just gave a lecture at NYU, and boasted that he adopted a tabby cat from the ASPCA. Seems like a perfect match.
Randy Newman
I just think this would be a sweet collaboration, the two of them sitting side by side on Newman's piano.They would have that Mr. Miyagi/Daniel Larusso father-son relationship going on.
Britt Daniel
He and the Spoon frontman team up for a dub-reggae album. They actually go to Jamaica for the recording, but two weeks in, Daniel disappears in the streets of Kingston, and is never seen again, so Vernon and Prince finish it instead.
Axl Rose
Seems Axl's having a personal struggle with his place in the world and his fame. They could probably balance each other out.
