Well, damn, if tomorrow isn't the first day of December. With
Black Friday under our belts, we are in full-blown holiday mode. And, according to the Polyphonic Spree, "It's Christmas."
That's the name of the band's new Christmas single, which earned its release today on the
Good Records Recordings label, where it's available on limited edition colored vinyl with art from Nevada Hill, MP3 or FLAC format. The track was recorded back in 2003 during the band's session for their sophomore album
Together We're Heavy, but today is the first time it's been released.
Should you like what you hear, keep in mind that The Spree will be performing its Ninth Annual Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday, December 10, at Lakewood Theater, which according to the press release will have zoo animals, photos with Santa and real snow. Also, bring a new toy and some canned goods and The Polyphonic Spree will donate them to Toys For Tots and North Texas Food Bank, respectively.
