In Defense of... Rihanna's "We Found Love" featuring Calvin Harris

Some exciting news out of Rihanna camp last week: Her new album is scheduled to release on Monday, November 21. The announcement came in conjunction with the release of her latest single with electronic music producer Calvin Harris.
"We Found Love" is Harris' latest collaboration with a British Commonwealth diva. (He also produced a couple of tracks for Kylie Minogue's 2007 album, X.)
Although Rihanna and I would surely make the best possible pairing, she and Harris have made a pretty good track together here. The reason why is simple: Both of these artists strike a similar balance between gloom and liveliness that other Top 40 artists just tease.
The relentless lines in the chorus put it all together: "We found love in a hopeless place."

Also, the single's cover art has Rihanna in fashion magazine greyscale in a West-coast Chola outfit and rocking a hairstyle from around those bygone '90s days, too. It goes to show that, even with baggy layers on, Ri just knows how to push my buttons.
The coolest thing about a new album's arrival is that it probably means a new tour. Hopefully, Rihanna will return to
In the meantime, I'll be waiting right here for you to find me, Ri.
