Adele and Def Leppard Reschedule and Other, Equally Important Show Announcements

A few weeks ago, we were sad to announce the postponement of Adele's House Of Blues show due to an illness. However, the British singer has announced that she'll be back, only this time it'll be at the much bigger, and probably more suitable Verizon Theater on Friday, October 21. All tickets purchased for her House Of Blues show will be accepted, and new tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. for $39.50 to $89.50 at Live Nation

Also on the rescheduled concert front, Def Leppard's show, originally scheduled for tonight at Gexa Energy Pavilion, has been cancelled due to the passing of singer Joe Elliott's father. The concert has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 6, at the same venue, and all tickets purchased for the original show will be honored. Unfortunately, the original opening act Heart will not perform at the rescheduled show.

In other, completely unrelated show announcement news, there are two mighty fine hip-hop shows coming our way. Both shows feature hip-hop legends, and both take place at the House Of Blues. On Sunday, August 14, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and Mobb Deep will perform. And, on Wednesday, September 7, Black Star featuring Mos Def & Talib Kweli will perform.

Heart and Def Leppard both suck. And I ought to know since I lived through the terrible 80's with them.

for those with Adele HOB tickets, it might be important to know that you need to GO TO Verizon within two time windows (the first is now), to exchange your seats for equitable tickets.  It is first come, first serve, so if you wait till the day of the rescheduled show, you might end up with a seat very much unlike the one you bought for the HOB show... http://goo.gl/zxFmh

What you failed to mention though is that 'Heart' will not be the opening act for Def Leppard on that rescheduled date to the dismay of many.
