Discovering new music is fun, ain't it?
Given the news we shared with you back on 4/20 (nyuck, nyuck), perhaps this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Nonetheless, thanks to a post on Neon Indian's Facebook page, we can now confirm it: The band will be debuting new material from their upcoming, sophomore full-length release as part of their headlining performance at the May 14 Homegrown Music and Art Festival at Main Street Garden Park in Downtown Dallas, which will also serve as the band's summer tour kickoff.

Consider this bit of news just another notch in the increasingly impressive belt being worn by the folks behind the Homegrown Fest, who will also host performances from North Texas-bred bands School of Seven Bells, This Will Destroy You, Astronautalis, Slobberbone, Seryn and Ishi, among others at their daylong event.

And, hey, more good news: This being Monday and all, we once again have a free pair of tickets to hand out to the festival. Want the free passes? Hit the jump and we'll learn ya on how to git some.

Want the free pair of tickets? Sure thing. Just be sure to email me by 5 p.m. with the words "Mama, I'm Coming Home" in the subject line to enter. We'll pick a winner at random. Please email just once; those who enter multiple times will be disqualified. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner!
