Moby performing at the 2010 Electric Daisy Carnival at Fair Park
Last year, you may recall, the Electric Daisy Carnival -- after 14 years in Los Angeles, a handful of years in Denver and just one in Puerto Rico -- made its Dallas debut with a pretty phenomenal showing at Fair Park.

No -- literally -- it showed well. The park was given a full-on transformation for the event. There were art installations all throughout, warehouses turned into rave spots with extensive lighting and sound rigs, and, oh, at least a couple thousand attendees. It didn't hurt that the festival had some nice names attached to it -- and big ones, too, such as Moby, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, Rusko and a host of other electronic music heavyweights.

Better yet, the city approved of the whole thing -- completely, even -- because, hey, they were just happy to see Fair Park being used for something cool, far as I could gather. And in the immediate aftermath of this debut, both the city and the company behind EDC, Insomniac Events, expressed interest in bringing the thing back in 2011.

A couple weeks back, they announced the date for this second Fair Park go-'round of EDC: Saturday, June 18. Now, they've announced the lineup. Check it out after the jump. Though there might be some more additions down the road -- so says the EDC site, at least -- it's looking pretty strong for now.

Even it took 20 years for an electronica even of this size and organization to come to town (i'm in my mid-30's now), my inner teenage raver will totally be there dancing his a*@ off! :-)

No shout out for hometown boy Demarkus Lewis?

I went last year, and it was pretty intense. Moby was probably the strongest showing the whole night, surprisingly. I know it's a stretch, but I kinda hope Deadmau5 shows up.
