Check Out Dorrough Vs. DEA, The Rapper's Response To The February Raid On His Home

It's elementary, my dear Dorrough.
It's been a couple months since the DEA conducted an early morning raid on the Dallas home of Lancaster native Dorwin Demarcus Dorrough, only to come up empty in their search and to leave the premises without arresting anyone.

At the time, a spokesperson for the platinum-selling rapper -- known simply as Dorrough and responsible for such hits as "Get Big," "Walk That Walk" and "Ice Cream Paint Job" -- had this much to say about the ordeal:
"All they found were gold & platinum plaques ('Ice Cream Paint Job' sales) on the walls."
A couple months later, and Dorrough's position on the matter has only slightly changed. In an almost 14-minute documentary released (interestingly enough) on April 20, Dorrough sits down in front of a camera and talks about the experience, which, according to him, saw 10 agents kick in his door, storm through his apartment and accost both the rapper and his girlfriend.

There's a couple other interesting reveals in the clip, during which Dorrough looks most flabbergasted. Namely, Dorrough admits that, a few weeks prior to the raid, he was hit with a gun possession charge -- something, he says, was probably for the better, or else he might've stupidly pulled his gun out on the officers. Also: He claims that word of the raid has had a negative effect on his career. Not altogether sure about that, but, hey, it's all in the clip, which you can watch after the jump in all its Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?-meets-MTV Cribs presentation.

Also: The video ends with Dorrough rapping about the experience. It's worth the watch, if only because the whole thing feels so bizarre.
