Which Of Your Texas Rangers Has The Coolest Intro Music?

Last week, the Morning News' Rangers beat writer/columnist Evan Grant shared the music being used at the start of this baseball season by most of your Texas Rangers players -- either at-bat music or welcome-to-the-mound stuff, naturally.

The best news that wasn't? Grant reported that catcher Mike Napoli was using "Teach Me How to Dougie" as his walk-up song, only to later rescind as much, announcing that, not only does Napoli not know how to Dougie, but that his song is acutally Jeremih and 50 Cent's "Down On Me." Lame.

As for the rest of the players' selections? Not a ton of surprises, really. Josh Hamilton is decidedly second in his music selections (Third Day, Mercy Me). Ian Kinsler (Zeppelin, Ram Jam, B.o.B.) and Michael Young (Disturbed, Beastue Boys) are decidedly frat boy-ish. Julio Borbon is writing checks his stats can't cash (Kanye West and Jay-Z's "H.A.M."). Matt Harrison is a straight-up country boy (Randy Houser). Meanwhile, CJ Wilson, clearly, thinks that he's the coolest dude in the clubhouse (Chromeo), and we're kind of inclined to agree.

The biggest shockers? That Arthur Rhodes likes country music so much (Brooks & Dunn) and that no one tried talking Elvis Andrus out of using a song meant as a rallying cry for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates (Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow"). Interesting.

Maybe someone can talk David Murphy into using some local music? He seems like a cool dude.

Check out the full list of songs being used by Rangers after the jump.

Ian Kinsler: Black Betty (Ram Jam), Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin) I Bet (B. O. B.)

Elvis Andrus: Danza Kuduro (Don Omar), Just A Dream (Nelly ), Black and Yellow (Wiz Khalifa)

Josh Hamilton: This Life (Mercy Me), I Used To Do It (LeCrae), Sing A Song (Third Day), Showstopper (Toby Mac)

Adrian Beltre: Dejale Caer to Peso (Yomo)

Michael Young: Inside The Fire (Disturbed), So What'cha Want (Beastie Boys)

Nelson Cruz: El Rescate (Alexis Y Fido and Daddy Yankee), Hoy Lo Siento (Zion Y Lennox)

Mitch Moreland Boots On (Randy Houser)

Mike Napoli: Teach Me How To Dougie (Cali Swag District)

Julio Borbon: Hood Hop (J-Kwon), La Despedida (Daddy Yankee), HAM (Kanye West)

Matt Harrison: Country Boy (Aaron Lewis)

Mark Lowe: Hillbilly Deluxe (Brooks and Dunn)

Arthur Rhodes: How Do You Like Me Now (Toby Keith)

C.J. Wilson: Call Me Up (Chromeo)

It's all noise. Just play baseball.

I bet "Black and Yellow" gets played on repeat at every Latin Kings party.

I personally think that Neftali's walk-up music is the best. I just don't know what it is called. Anyone know?

I was at a game last year when Chris Davis walked out to "Milkshake". Now that was awesome.

Michael Young FTW. But he should substitute Down with the Sickness for Inside the Fire.

This is somewhat off topic, but hands-down the best intro music for a batter I ever heard was for a Texas A&M player a few years back (can't recall who). He used Alice In Chains' "Man in the Box."

Darren O'Day: "Thickfreakness" (The Black Keys)

Yes! Love that O'Day comes out to Thickfreakness. I was at a game last season and noticed it. I wonder if he still uses it this year. I've yet to make a game.

He does. I was at the game on 4/2 and that's what played. By far my favorite from this year.

Edit: On second thought it might actually be "Just Got To Be." But I am positive it was The Black Keys though. Alcohol makes my memory fuzzy.

Last year my favorite was Matt Treanor's; he used the theme from The A-Team.

Frank Francisco's "Mambo Gaga" was the best entrance music ever. Feliz should use it now.
