And we stand by that assertion: Pug
a Chicagoan that has used not only his talent, but his hard-earned
notoriety to tour the world with well-known artists such as Steve Earle
and Josh Ritter as an opening act, is now the headliner in his own tour
that will take him around North America for the next few months. Still
trekking in support of his sublime 2010 release, Messenger
, Pug is once again showcasing his ability to reach out to the fans and create a little buzz for his current tour.

that Pug -- a guy who writes the vast majority of his own material --

Saturday night show at The Loft in Dallas, we asked him. In response,
Pug sent us a list of few of his "cover wish picks" and his reasons for
