Giveaway: Five Pairs of Tickets to See The Black Lips and Vivian Girls Tonight at The Loft
Yesterday, we caught up with Jared Swilley, bass player for Atlanta's The Black Lips, to talk about the band's upcoming, sixth studio release, as well as a number of other things, in advance of his band's performance alongside Vivian Girls tonight at The Loft.
And, promised Swilley, yes, you can expect tonight's show to be a rowdy affair, just like the rest of the band's shows. Because, well, that's what the Black Lips do.
"Well, when I go to a show," Swilley told us, "I want to have a really good time and I want everyone else to have a really good time and get their money's worth. We're entertainers. We just want to put on a really great live show. And we come from a long line of great performers out of Georgia -- James Brown, Little Richard, those were wild shows and those guys were amazing entertainers. We want to do the same thing. That's what we set out to do."
